Encore works alongside your health insurance, not instead of it. Your annual membership covers your primary care with us, so we do not bill insurance for your visits. Your insurance can still be used for labs, imaging, medications, specialists, hospital care, and other outside services just as it normally would.

Hi, I’m Dr. Julia Gold, a board-certified family medicine physician and the founder of Encore Concierge Medicine in Chicago.

After about nine years in traditional primary care, I built Encore so I could slow down, get to know my patients, and help connect the dots between visits, specialists, and systems. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative, whether we're focused on prevention, navigating perimenopause and menopause, or caring for your whole family.

I'm honored to be recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor (2025 and 2026) and a Castle Connolly Exceptional Woman in Medicine (2026). Encore was also named one of the 10 Best Concierge Doctors in Chicago by Modern Luxury Chicago in 2025.
